Delivery

  • Most items are in stock for immediate dispatch – these items if posted are on a 3 to 5 working day delivery. Some items can take 7 to 10 working days delivery, however, large or palleted items can take longer. Please contact us if you want an accurate delivery date/stock availability.

  • Deliveries are a door to door service unless otherwise arranged. Signed for deliveries are now classed as pictured in situ at the delivery address provided. Deliveries with a picture taken & provided are classed as delivered. Womacks of Bawtry take no responsibility once an item has been delivered, pictured, and verified at the delivery address. No refunds are given on any item which has been delivered and pictured – this is deemed out of our control.
  • Signed for pictures are taken of the delivered items by the driver, these pictures a
  • Glass items are in store collection only – if you decide to have any glass item shipped via postal services, Womacks Of Bawtry take no liability or responsibility for the item/s which arrive damaged. Womacks Of Bawtry will ensure that the item/s is packed accordingly to avoid any damage, but any item which arrives damaged is down to the purchaser – no liability/responsibility for any glass item smashed in transit will be the purchasers responsibility. Any glass item arriving smashed will not be refunded by Womacks Of Bawtry. All liability lies with the purchaser and under no circumstances will Womacks Of Bawtry take any liability. This does not include glass items delivered directly by Womacks Of Bawtry
  • For all large Marble Dining Table deliveries’ there is a £50 delivery surcharge due to it being a 2 man delivery
  • Any large items of furniture that are classed as a missed delivery will attract a re delivery charge – the charge will be determined as to location

Orders under £500 delivery charges are as follows:

  • Non Signed For =£6.99 – Signed for =£7.99
  • Non Signed choice @ £6.99 – The courier company will leave your parcel in a safe place on your property, should you not be home for the delivery. Picture evidence and GPS are given and this is treated as delivered. No Signature is required. Womacks Of Bawtry take no responsibility for any item being left on you property by the courier company.
  • Signed for choice @ £7.99 – The courier company will not leave the parcel without obtaining a signature – this is our recommended delivery option
  • Over £500 FREE Delivery – This excludes certain areas and does not include Southern or Northern Ireland. If you are outside of the UK, please contact us for a delivery quote. All orders outside of the UK are charged accordingly to your location.

If you wish to return any item purchased, details of the return procedure, terms and conditions, are below

Returns/Pre Orders/Back Orders

  • The item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  • Your item must be in the original packaging – items will not be accepted for return otherwise
  • Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.
  • In all cases of return, as we offer free delivery on all our products over £500 the customer is responsible for the cost of return, unless damaged/defective
  • All returns which are returned as they are, wrong size, wrong colour, too big, too small, disliked, change of heart (the list is endless) which is an error of the purchaser will incur a re stocking fee of 10% of the purchase price – this will be deducted from the refund.
  • Late deliveries of any order which are returned will also have the same return conditions above. Womacks Of Bawtry take no responsibility for delayed deliveries once posted and tracking details sent.
  • All over seas purchases being returned will have the full postage cost deducted from the refund, plus a 10% of the purchase fee
  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your unwanted item
  • Shipping costs are non refundable
  • Back ordered items which are ordered and cancelled will incur a 10% refund fee
  • Special ordered items are non refundable

Refunds

  • Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received it
  • You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it
  • We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item
  • If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment)
  • As this is a Worldpay online payment system, refunds can take up to 14 working days
  • You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies
  • Returns where a pallet service has been used to send will incur a re stocking fee of £55 – this will be deducted from the refund
  • Returns through normal postage will incur a £25 re stocking fee to cover our time and postage – this will be deducted from the refund

All over seas purchases being returned will have the full postage cost deducted from the refund, plus a £25 admin fee

Your legal rights: 

  • When you buy goods from a business, in law you have a number of rights as a consumer
  • These include the right to claim a refund, replacement, repair and/or compensation where the goods are faulty or not as described
  • If you have a ‘Change of Mind’ purchase you will not be refunded – this will be an exchange or a credit note

Online, Mail and Phone Order Sales – The Rules

Online, mail and telephone order customers have the right to cancel their order for a limited time even if the goods are not faulty, or have been received:

  • Womacks Of Bawtry give the purchaser 24 hours to cancel any order made online – after this time the Returns & Refunds Policy is in place
  • Any order which is cancelled after this 24 hour period or when the item has already been shipped, will incur return postage costs, and a 10% re stocking fee – you will also be issued with either a credit note or an exchange, but not a refund

A company must offer a refund to customers if the customer told them within 14 days of receiving their goods that they want to cancel. The customer has another 14 days to return the goods once they have told the company

Our policy: 

  • In addition to your legal rights, we also allow you to return goods if you simply ‘change your mind’ under the RETURNED goods section policy
  • Please return the unused goods to us, in the original packaging and in the original state of purchase, with the invoice number within 14 days and you will be issued with a credit note or an exchange. This is the legal requirement.
  • All return costs, for any of the above reasons are met by the purchaser and when the purchaser purchased an item and then changed their mind
