Return & Refund Policy

Thanks for shopping at Womacks of Bawtry.

If you wish to return any item purchased, details of the return procedure, terms and conditions, are below:

Returns

You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.

  • The item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging.
  • Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.

In all cases of return the customer is responsible for the cost of the return, unless the item is damaged/defective.

  • Any item which has been altered at the request of the purchaser is non refundable, and payment of the item to be altered is an acceptance of these terms.
  • If an item is retuned after alterations have been made, you will receive a credit note/exchange/replacement for the item.
  • If defective or no longer required due to change of heart/buyers remorse/purchased in error then an exchange/credit note/replacement is issued
  • The terms on altered items are non negotiable

Refunds

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item.

We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund/credit after inspecting the item.

If your return is approved, if a full refund is  to be issued, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). Any deductions as per the above  will be deducted from the refund.

As this is an online payment system, refunds can take up to 21 working days.

We do not have any control over refund timescales.

You will receive the credit depending on your card issuer’s policies.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless the item is defective.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable
  • Original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund
  • A £25 re stocking fee will be deducted from the refund for items returned due to change of heart/buyers remorse/purchased in error.
  • If a credit note is issued, the restocking fee will not be deducted but the return costs will still be down to the customer as well as the original postage fee
