We recommend waxing this table, as all wood finishes benefit from waxing, or oiling, as this will prolong the life and appearance of the wood and help protect against any spills and stains. Reclaimed wood has a totally different appearance to that of ‘made to be perfect’ pieces, but that is part of this range – its reclaimed, and made to look old!

Castors are for ease of movement when extended – 5cm height difference

This range of reclaimed weathered wood is superb, and pictures do not do the item justice.

As it is a recycled/reclaimed wood, each piece will differ and have those natural imperfections that add to the appearance creating character.

You will always get lumps and bumps etc, but this is part of wood which has been reclaimed. If you want perfect – this isn’t what reclaimed wood is!

Superb extending dining table which can be as small as a round table to seat 4 people, then add each leaf as required – you can get up to 14 to 16 chairs round this table!

Available in 2 colour options – this showing the natural base look, you can also have this table with all cream base finish.

Origin

Reclaimed wood can come from a variety of sources, including old buildings, docks, boxcars, and barrels.

Quality

Reclaimed wood is often of better quality than new wood because it comes from older, denser “old growth” trees. Having been reclaimed, makes this type of wood re usable for pieces that are supposed to have that old lived in look, with warps and lumps and bumps – this is the look it will create.

Uses

Reclaimed wood can be used in cabinetry, flooring, and furnishings.

Appearance

Reclaimed wood can have a rustic look with visual signs of previous use, such as nail holes, oxide stains, saw trace marks, lumps and warping – but this does detract from the quality or what it can be used to make – just dont expect perfection!
